Midtskandia
Midtskandia
Midtskandia is an official cross-border committee under the Nordic Council of Ministers. Its main duty is to eliminate border obstacles and contribute to joint development projects between Nordland (primarily Helgeland) in Norway, and Västerbotten in Sweden.
Members of Midtskandia are county councils, local authorities, trade associations and regional councils.
Rana Utvikling provides the secretariat function on the Norwegian side. A new three-year contract for this role was signed on 30 January 2020.
